Byline dated Feb 26, 2025. Elicit's 2023-09-25 seed post ("Elicit Raises $9 Million and Becomes a Public Benefit Corporation") describes the company as spun out of the nonprofit Ought; that $9M seed round is superseded by this later, larger figure and is not separately added (the two are sequential rounds, not both outstanding).
