Total funding

Press release · 15 Oct 2024

Same release states the $45M Series B "bringing the company's total funding to $68M" -- a stated cumulative total, not just the round (contrast arize-ai's PR Newswire release, which states only the round).

Founded

Official documentation · 9 Sep 2026

Galileo's own About page: "Galileo was founded in 2021 to pursue a vision of AI reliability." Corroborated by the company's own Series B press release (Oct 2024): "We started Galileo three years ago to solve AI's measurement problem."

Status

Official documentation · 28 May 2026

Splunk's own blog (2026-05-28): "Cisco has completed its acquisition of Galileo", with Galileo's technology "integrated into Splunk Observability's AI Agent Monitoring." Cisco's own announcement (2026-04-09, blogs.cisco.com) named the target "Galileo Technologies, Inc.", confirmed as this company by its own description of the business (AI observability/evaluation). galileo.ai's own live site (fetched 2026-09-09) still markets independently with no Cisco/Splunk mention and no wind-down language, unlike Helicone -- treated as continuing under its own name, same as weights-and-biases and langfuse, not merged into Cisco's or Splunk's own record.
