Last audited figure is "nearly 8,000 employees" as of 2023-01-31 in the FY2023 10-K — over three years stale and pre-acquisition. Cisco's FY2025 10-K gives only a group total (~86,200 across all of Cisco) and breaks out no Splunk figure. Null rather than a stale or parent-wide number.
