Company disclosure · 15 Apr 2026
Upstage's own release on its Series C first closing (KRW 180B, 2026-04-15): "이번 시리즈C 1차 클로징으로 업스테이지의 누적 투자금은 약 4천억 원 규모로 확대되었다" (cumulative funding expanded to approximately KRW 400 billion) -- confirmed independently by Asia Business Daily's English report of the same release. Converted at 1,469.42 KRW/USD, the USD/KRW close on 2026-04-15 (Yahoo Finance KRW=X history). Supersedes the $157M 2025-08-20 Series B bridge figure, which understated the total even before this round.
- Valuation
-
"Upstage's corporate value is estimated at 1.3 trillion won" against the same article's own stated pair for its KRW 560B National Growth Fund tranche ("560 billion won ($413 million)"), an implied rate of 1,355.93 KRW/USD -- used here rather than a separately looked-up spot rate so the valuation and the investment figure in the same article convert consistently with each other. Recorded as an estimate per the source's own wording.
